On 8th April 2013 the Women’s Legal Service and Julie Collins MP – Minister for the Status of Women launched the GirlsGottaKnow App.

The GirlsGottaKnow Mobile App provides general legal information to young women between 14-24 years of age.

GirlsGottaKnow was developed by the Women’s Legal Service over the last six months to provide a one-stop destination for young women with legal enquiries.

GirlsGottaKnow provides information in six major categories:

• Employment
• Relationships
• Money
• Partying and Trouble
• Housing and Renting
• General

The App includes articles on topics such as “respectful relationships”, “workplace harassment” and “using a fake ID”.
